The Story of Our Founder
The Story of Our Founder
Jean D. Marston is the owner of Art With Heart by Jean. She has been an artist with a unique set of skills for almost her whole life, and she took various art classes to further her knowledge. Her grandmother, Sarah Barbara Fox-Dooling who is affectionately known as “Bobby,” was an artist who painted well. Sarah inspired her to pursue the same passion even though they never met.
During Hurricane Katrina, Jean lost her art studio and her paintings. It wasn’t till 14 years later her passion to paint returned. A Christmas visit with her daughter Jennifer Marston who is an excellent artist herself, gave inspiration to Jean. 41 paintings later and now she is ready for the world again. Now there is peace in her life.
Jean’s artworks have meanings to the eyes of the beholder. They have no brand, just a variety of art forms for you to enjoy. She particularly likes bold colors and pleasing subjects. Her paintings will definitely complement your home and workplace!
